Solar Suitcase

How many times have you found yourself in an airport desperately searching for an available wall outlet to plug your phone charger into before boarding a flight?

For many travelers, including myself, finding an open wall outlet at an airport gate seems to be a nearly impossible task. So, instead of waiting and searching for an available charging area, I created the Solar Suitcase*. This suitcase would allow its user to sit near a large window in an airport and charge his or her cellphone. It eliminates one aspect of frustration and anxiety while waiting for a flight at the airport.

* At Loyola, I took an upper-level communication course called: "Writing for Public Relations." Each student was asked to create their own "million-dollar company" and produce an entire public relations campaign for that imaginary company. I created this company called "Solar Suitcase."
